“Pappaiottule” are prepared with simple, leftover ingredients, because one should “not throw anything away”. Bread is soaked and then cheese and eggs are added and long balls are formed and then fried in olive oil and then put in a terrine together with artichokes and zucchini and then baked in the oven. It was the rich dish of poor people. Add some tomato sauce and it will be just delicious.
