Il pasto della Tarantola is the title of a theatre performance featuring Apulien food. During the performance the audience will taste local delicacies such as lampascioni (Lampascioni are the edible flower bulbs of the grape or tassel hyacinth, an antipasti tradition of Italy’s Puglia region. The bulbs, which resemble tiny onions.
The characteristic taste is bitter, salt and sour, but it goes remarkably well with meat and steamed fish or served as antipasti in accompaniment with salumi) or scapèce (small fish covered in flour  and sprinkled with breadcrumbs, flavored with vinegar and saffron and fried.) and pomodori secchi (sun-dried tomatoes).
